This story was produced in conjunction with NBC Bay Area. The reporters were investigating possible solutions to the California drought. I edited this video showing how the Hashita School in Rehovot, Israel teaches children the importance of conserving and recycling water through school projects.

I also created supporting graphics, such as this timeline showing the history of water in California, and this slider showing receding snowpack amidst the drought. The timeline was created in Timeline.JS and the slider was created with Juxtapose.JS.

Since three of NBC's local news stations are based in California, the drought was a big story for them. I supported the California stations by maintaining their photo galleries of extreme weather exacerbated by climate change.
